On-Time vs. On-Demand
On-Time
On-Time means fixed timetables as in scheduled services. Familiar reliability and predictability during peak hours.
You don’t have to reserve your ride. Be on time at the stop, get in and go!
On-Demand
During off-peak hours and on weekends, you benefit from flexible on-call rides. Exactly when you need them and as much as you want.
You have to order on-demand rides via the Pick-e-Bike app or by phone.
When does what run?
You can find the exact departure times for on-time operation on the BLT website, the «Basel Go!» app and in the SBB App.
Outside of on-time hours, we operate in on-demand mode. During this time, you can see the live location of the Pick-e-Ride buses in the Pick-e-Bike app.
Stops & Tickets
To use the service, a valid public transport ticket or pass is required. You don’t need an additional ticket for Pick-e-Ride. The regular TNW fare regulations apply. You can get your ticket at the usual sales points, via the “Tickets” app, or directly on the bus before departure.

What are the operating hours of Pick-e-Ride?
On-Time – Monday to Friday
Line 92: 05:43 – 8:24 / 11:41 – 13:22 / 15:15 – 18:30
Line 93: 05:47 – 8:24 / 11:27 – 13:31 / 15:35 – 18:19

How can I see how long the Pick-e-Ride bus will take to reach me?

What are the fare prices and where can I purchase a ticket?
Es muss ein gültiges öV-Ticket oder -Abo für die gewünschte Strecke vorhanden sein. Du musst für die Fahrt mit Pick-e-Ride jedoch kein zusätzliches Ticket lösen. Es gelten die regulären TNW-Tarifbestimmungen. Das Ticket kannst du dir an den üblichen Verkaufsstellen, über die App «Tickets» für iOS oder Android oder im Bus vor der Abfahrt lösen.
Can I reserve a Pick-e-Ride bus for a specific time or appointment?
Currently, rides can only be booked on-demand, for immediate departures. Advance reservations for a specific time are not possible.
